Pedro,

Not good for Maryanne.  My mother was diagnosed with it, when it was in its early stages.  She's still with us 35 years later.  Maryanne'll pull through, she'll need a fair bit lot of support.

Hi Pedro

Thought you'd been a little quiet lately.  We just figured you'd been working hard on the house and the wagon - not going through the emotional roller coaster I'm sure you guys are well and truly on.

John and I send our best wishes to Mez and hope everything goes well for her and she has a successful recovery so you can both grow very, very old together!  Smiley  And you make sure you look after yourself so you can look after her.  Kiss

Our thoughts are with you & Mez, give her our love.

I don't think you have much to worry about though, Mez has put up with you ya big lump so a little one will be a breeze Wink.

As Kathi said, make sure you look after yourself as you look after mum.

Thanks for the kind words folks I'll pass them on to Maryanne, she's not handling it very well but all we can do at the moment is take things one day at a time and hope for the best.

Thanks Jamie, sorry I didn't reply earlier but I have been a bit busy lately, inbetween looking after Maryanne, doing all the housework and getting the place ready for the market I haven't had time to scratch myself lately let alone get on here, Maryanne is doing fine she had the op. two weeks ago and had the drains removed on thursday so she's up and about again now, she must be doing alright as she went to bingo with our daughter today, she still has to go through chemo in a few weeks but is feeling positive about it all, haven't had time to do any work on the wagon lately but I have reassembled most of it ready for the move.

Could be worse Jamie, if you had got bridging finance just before things went bung you might have been in too deep now, the people who bought our last house took out a bridging loan as they hadn't sold their previous house and then couldn't sell it, last I heard they were going to lose both houses and the husband had just had a heart attack from the stress.

G'day all, I haven't been able to get on here lately as we had a virus in our computer that we just couldn't shift, even the guy who built our computer couldn't get rid of it so he came over today and wiped our hard-drive and restarted everthing again.

Mez is doing fine, she is going through chemo at the moment which isn't quite as bad as we expected so she is feeling pretty positive at the moment.

I haven't done anything on the wagon lately as we could have to move anytime if we sell and I've been busy looking after Mez, got the grill back from the chromers last week so I'm started to feel motivated to do get back to work on the old girl though.

My bro got the rest of the bits together for his XS650 project and brought it back up for me build a battery box, mount the tank and mudguard and to finish the modifications.

Pedro,

Good to hear that Mez is doing OK, Bummer about the virus, I hope that you had everything backed up. I din't when we got a virus a few years ago and lost nearly everything.

I bet with a  shiney new grille that you can't wait to put it in!

Things are finally falling into place around here, we just signed a contract on our place and Mez only has one chemo to go so in a few weeks we'll be on the move and I'll finally be able to get back to work on the wagon, the old girl is all packed up ready to go and I'm itching to get started, dean you can see what I was talking about the other day and how much the cold pressing stuffed the springs, they just have no temper in them any more and can't support much weight, you are much better off getting yours done properely at a reputable co. like king springs where they recondition and reset them to the height you want.

First thing will be to take it to the bloke who has done the inspections on the other cars I've built in the past to make sure it will pass, then I''ll be finishing the paint, I've already aquired a rubber kit, a Stinky hoodlining and had some chrome done so once the paint is finished I can start assembling Grin Grin Grin.
