Pedro,
I ran the 2 piece initially in the van and got severe vibration from it. Changed to a 1 piece and never looked back from there.
Will be running a 1 piece in the ute as well.
Cheers JB

If you haven't grown up by 50, you don't have to.

After I took that pic of the tailshaft I noticed the drivers side wheel had moved back about 50mm which makes things look worse, you can see it's not straight in the pic. Pedro

If you get all your angles the same relative to each other, you shouldn't get vibration.
A 1 piece tailshaft means less angles to deal with!
Using shims in the right places will usually correct any vibrations.
project is looking good Pedro.
Cheers

Lookin great Pedro, I'll race you with the Ambo when your done You'll have to give me a head start Gary, don't know if I'll be able to keep up with the big block 138 Niki is what bog or body filler is to us older blokes Bog just sounds so bad The body reshaping material (that sound better) is nearly finished on the shell, just a couple of fiddly bits to go then I'll do the GMH black and block it down before doing the spray putty as you advised Mark, I'm doing the shell first so I can fit the wiring and get the auto sparky out to join the FC harness and the RB30 engine harness together, it'll be easier for him without all the doors and panels on plus less chance of anything getting scratched. did you do the brake lines/brakes yourself or out sourced? I bent up all the pipes but I had to get a brake shop to do the reflaring on the ones that needed it as they are double flares and ball flares. Pedro

Good stuff Pedro, looking good. I'm going to have to pull my finger out and get moving on my project now but will have to thaw everything out it's been so cold down here. Might be time to get a heater in the shed! Cheers, Jack.
