My gear shifter and handbrake finall turned up. Si I fitted those up, very happy with my choice Next was trial fitting up the brake booster and master cylinder, and of corse nothing is straight forward The bolts on the booster were way to far apart for the master cylinder to just bolt straight on So I had to knock up an adapter plate to suit Pretty easy job Only had to cut a small piece from the return part under the dash to get the 8 inch booster fo fit I’m planning on mounting the reservoirs under the ash tray lid in top of the dash. That’s today’s job. Mal Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks The system is going to be full 2 1/2 inch stainless Its all stainless steel and most parts are polished when I buy them. I use stainless wire in the mig to weld everything together The most tedious part is the grinding, being careful to only grind the weld. When I have the weld ground close, I use a flap wheel in the grinder, then 120 sanding disc, then 320 sanding disc, then polish the section on the pedestal polisher.

This is an amazing project to witness as it progresses. Worthy of a TV Doco. It more than compares to the American Custom shows. The standout for me is that it is a "one man band" & not a workshop Team effort. Will this get to the HILL in 2022? Top stuff Mal. Cheers Kevin.

That polishing would take 10 times at least the welding time ,do you use a buffing bar like Josco on the fabric buffing wheel ?
