Great work Pete,

I like the column mount.

Looks like a datsun 1200 / Stanza booster?

Cheers

Little bit on the ute.
Finished fixing the radiator
Step that I made a bloody mess of the rails.
Must have been shitfaced when I cut that out.
So I cut sections from my bitsas and got the end of the rail swage shorter so they look like they end properly.
Also put a relief in for clerance of steering

Pete,
The way your going both will be ready for painting at the same time. Thats if your going to paint the ute. What does the engineer say about the 5 litre in the ute that you obviously started after the new laws came in. Brett

Reminds me when i put a 350 auto (two speed power glide fast and faster) in the 1984 Holden shuttle work van. Drove it on normal 4 cyl reg until it passed away. Looked like a sleeper and had a single exhaust. Quiet but you could still tell by the note it was a V8. Took it to police stations without an eye blinking. Even had an accident in it once (not my fault) and the assessor even didnt pick it up. Ah the good ol days.

Heres my nightmare im determined not to put the hadfield kit in it .
I wont be producing these their a bastard .
Wont be to bad when its all nutted out.
Next nightmare tying the front in.
So theres a 6mm doubler on the other side that picks up all 3 bolts will weld in heavy wall crush tubes .
That with the gearbox crossmember should be nice and stiff
