Maybe someone could post a 'Then and Now' couple of pictures, Brett.  Keep the pics coming Alex.

A happy family at Margate, Brisbane in 1961.

Brisbane in April 1969 - in the last few days of the Brisbane trams.

Look closely and you can see a 'pink' FE climbing up the hill.

A you sure the ute isn't an FE?  Grin

What is that in the distance near the other bus, another FC or a later model?

Looking at the ute, it has a short front mudguard spear which should designate it as an FC. As far as I know FE utes had a holden script in place of the spear.

What is that in the distance near the other bus, another FC or a later model?

Looking at the vehicle I would think that it would be an FE as the two tone does not travel down the boot as does the series 1 FC.

I am happy to be corrected... Wink

The two-piece rear door of this station sedan opens to show the space loading facilities of its spacious interior. It is one of four new models of "Holden" announced by General Motors Holdens Limited in February 1957 - The smooth floor shown is created by tilting the cushion of the rear seat, and folding the seat forward

This Australian built station sedan is one of four new models of the Holden motor car announced by General Motors-Holdens Limited, in February, 1957 - It has spacious seating for three people in front, and is suitable for general purposes, and for social requirements

Check out the unusual flash combination on this FE wagon.
This is the first time I have seen this flash on a FE FC.

Hey Gary
The link is a bit hit and miss, something to do with the NSW gov site performance I'd say.
I just tried it and it worked.
Give it another go and if you can't see them, I could send the pics to you.
