Will try and dig up some photos my grandads taxi service
he started a taxi service in Wangi Wangi NSW and had a new FX and then updated one of his best customers was sir willam Dobell the painter who also lived and wangi and did not have a licence
But apparently his cousin loaned one of the cars and wrote it off sending the business bankrupt.
see what i can find.

These are from The Herald Road Guide (undated - but cost 9 shillings).     FEs and FCs were lurking at Hotels all over the place it would seem. Cheers David |
