Don't be too shocked coz there's more to come Grin Grin, just went and scored some gal steel box for the chassis rails from the dump shop, not exactly the size i wanted but the price was right.

Thanks for the tips on two pack Mark & Ed, I've done a few laquer paint jobs and a couple in enamel but I've never tackled two pack before, I'm going to give it a go because i like the high gloss finish that is achievable compared to laquer, should i buy a proper gun or is my old gun good enough, if it's going to make a difference i'd rather go the extra $ and get the right one.

G'day utesrule66, are the doors not fitting horizontally or verticaly, or is it in or out, hinges can be bent, holes lenthend but if the opening is too small you have problems, I learned the hard way I bought a wagon project once that someone had already started, the doors wouldn't even fit the openings at all, it was easier just to sell it on than to try and fix it.
                   Pedro

Hi Pedro
I'll take some photos and post them for some advise on ways to fix the problem I have come this far now can't quit, I will have to fix it. thanks

Back on the dodgy bros. rotissaree

This seat more acceptable Ret

Finished welding the hump

started on the subframe rails

Didn't have to do this as the engine I'm running is basically only a 186 but it'll help stiffen the old girl up.

Ain't nothin' wrong with a dodgy bros rotisserie - worked just fine for the FE 20 years ago!  Smiley

But this is all getting a little too much though Pedro - 3 photographic updates in 8 days?  What's in the water up there?  Cheesy  Whatever it is (and we're assuming it's Bundy) - keep drinking it!  Wink

Thanks for the support folks, I'm just stoked to be able to finally be able to get stuck into the old girl, I'd be out in the shed all day everyday if i could, but there always seems to be something else that has to be done, I'd also like to say thanks to my wife Mezz for "tolerating" and supporting me while i do this, we have been together for thirty years so she has been tolerating me for a long time Wink Cheesy Cheesy
