Yes i got the ones you said Stinky the outsides could have been made to fit with a bit of sanding but the insides were too loose, it's alright Pete is going to knock me some up, Cool  the Col Hersee switch arrived today and worked perfectly  Smiley Smiley finally got the wiring almost complete now, just a bit of taping and interior lights to do, the old girl even has reversing lights lol.

The switch where the choke should be is for the heater fan, I'm looking for another chrome knob if anyone has a spare, I have plenty of plain ones but only the one chrome one unfortunately.

Hey pedro so the bush just needs to have the centre hole the same as the crank and a single step the depth of the thickness of the material so it inserts into the wiper arm.

been a while thats all.

Thanks Pete they look great, that was quick, I should have just asked you in the first place instead of stuffing around for weeks, you better add them to your catalogue i think you might get a few more orders  Wink, Thanks for the tip re the switch Brett i would have been stuffed otherwise, the Auto sparky was trying to tell me that VL wiper motors were different and i was going to have to try and modify it but it parked on the HR switch so i figured it wasn't the motor, I like the idea of the redback spider shifter Jack wonder if there is an auto shifter with one, thanks re the chrome knob Jim, not sure how much longer it's going to take really, once i get past this bit and get onto the part where things are meant to fit together it should go a lot quicker, but as Craig said there is always a lot of waiting for stuff involved too.

Pedro, I could only find an old light switch and choke knob, they both have good chrome. You should be able to remove the chrome section and refit it to your switch.

Couldn't get an ice thermo fan so i bought a tornado brand one, supposed to be the most powerful with 3,300 cfm, only problem is the temperature switch is too big it's a 3/8 BSP thread and the old one is a lot smaller, tried to find a smaller one on e-bay and through google but no luck, I don't even know what size the old one is, any suggestions.

I had to drill and tap the manifold which is wafer thin .

Make a new top thermostat housing longer pipe and weld a boss onto it so it screws into that?

Or make an adaptor off the aeroflow threaded RB necks

I was looking at the type that fits in between the radiator fins, can't see why they shouldn't work with any type of fan it's only got two wires positive and negative that you reverse to change fan rotation.
