No worries guy's, slow and steady from now on i'm not game to even walk too close in case i get clumsy, yeah i thought it looked a bit pink in the other shots too but i wasn't game to say anything coz i knew i'd get bagged about it Wink, spent the morning sorting out the wiper problem had me frustrated for a while as the manifold pipes are right where it needed to sit but i managed to get it by spacing it out and grinding off the lip on the motor where it touched so i could rotate it to the right spot, off to paint it up now.

That wagon is looking the goods. Just need the patience now to go steady. When building models, I was the kid who put it all together slowly, then rushed the paint & decals. Always a disaster Cry Watching with envy & interest. Dave

I'm trying, as usual i had bugger all to do while i was waiting for the old girl to be painted now all of a sudden i seem to have something else i have to do everyday Roll Eyes, got the wiper motor sorted just need the linkage grommets now, went to Ipswich today trying to find a right angle bayonet fitting to solve the problem of the ATF outlet being too close to the battery and nobody had anything to suit as it a metric thread so i ended up going to the local engineer to try and get something made.

A big thanks to Pedro and his skin cancer pics if I hadnt seen what they look like I probably would have not thought twice to get my lip checked out.
Turned out I had 2 cancers
at 33 I wouldn't of expected to have them.
Bloody sore today big v out my lip and a whole in my ear.

Too easy mate glad i could be useful to you for a change you help so many people out on here but so far there has been nothing we can do to return the favour, they certainly made you look like you'd done a few rounds with Mohammed Ali though. Cheesy Cheesy

Yeah anything can strike anyone, which sucks, but I learned that early in life. I agree with Pedro, it doesn't make sense why good people get issues.

I'll just have to start another one won't i,  Wink only the next one will be standard just slightly warmed up so everything bolts together how it is meant to, I'm stoked with the wagon but geez it's been a pain in the arse trying to make it all fit together.

No worries Deano glad to be of help,  Wink Grin Grin seriously though it was mainly because of the RB30 a V6 would have been easier but as Pete said it'll all be worth it in the end as they go so well plus there's also the bragging rights especially if i fit a turbo down the track, Wink feeling better about it all today though i'm starting to get through all the complicated bits and once i start on the stuff that's meant to bolt together it'll go a lot quicker.

I am doing everything more ass about than I have before, but it will ensure it all comes together quicker towards the end having all the running rear and parts and sundries restored rather than having a beautiful body with no blingy bits to put on straight away. From that stand point, I quite like the way it is turning out.

Not a lot done lately spent too much on the paint and chrome, plus i've been busy and still stuck on the same problems, the F**d door hinge bushes didn't fit and the bloke at Vintage auto repros never answers his phone or rings back, the HR wiper switch worked perfectly and even parked the wipers but shorted out on the dash as it is a negative setup, the one i got from the local auto sparky won't park so i ordered a Cole Hersee switch from the local britax dealer, 5 weeks later still no switch so i told them to shove it and found one on the net, should be here tomorrow so i'll see how that goes.

Pedro, Just left you a message on ness's build. You wont have a problem with the coles switch. I spent many nights trying to come up with a switch until i came across this switch. easy to use and install. Any problems look up my build or call me. regards Brett
