Pedro, the second pic was taken minutes before I sold the old girl; the new owner wanted the wheels but not the centre caps so I kept them...
Given your chosen colour scheme, I reckon those wheels might look OK on your wagon if painted all satin black with chrome nuts, bullet centre caps and narrow white band tyres??
(overall tyre diameter might cause a problem though; the white band tyres might only be available in 70 section - could cause probs with clearance on lock with front wheels; also overall gearing; also body height/stance given that you would be going from 13s to 70 section 15s  Huh By way of comparison for you, my FC is running 14 inch rims with 70 section white bands; 215/70 14 rear, 185/70 front; 7 and 5 inch rims; lowered 2.5 inches back; 3 inches front - pics available if you want)

cheers,jack

Anyone got a can of petrol and a match Angry, this is getting really ******* monotonous, I assembled and fitted the HR steering linkages today and the drag link curves backward and hits the sump, the FC one had heaps of clearance so I thought it would be alright, looks like the sump and pickup are coming back off again tomorrow and being remade into the markIII version.

OK had my dummy spit Roll Eyes, I'm over it now, it wouldn't be so bad except it seems like "everything" on this build has been a major drama, I've already bought all the new bits for the HR linkages Pete and i'm just about out of dough again so it is cheaper for me to fix the sump, I hope that hoodlining you're doing for me isn't going to be done in grey Stinky Huh although i suppose I could always sell it on to Jack he likes grey doesn't he Wink

Sump version III, wasn't that hard really just a pain to have to do it again, all I did was spin the bottom around

At least if your sump plug comes out while your driving the wind will blow the oil back in.

Good progress Pedro,

Sometimes it's two steps forward on back to keep going forward, keep at it

Better make that three steps back before i go foreward Keith, ended up having to drop the front end again as well to get the sump on, all done now though and plenty of clearance

Hey Dean(JOD34N) you're into photography, Is there a way I can stop getting the reflections that look like scratches in the pics Huh

Sorry mate, did you want to know how to do it?, I thought you were only asking if it could be done Tongue Tongue.

OK, the easiest way to do it is get enough light under the car that the camera doesn't set off the flash. The flash is reflecting off the shiny paint......other choice paint it flat black  Grin.

Feels like Christmas today Grin Grin

I can finish putting the front end together now I've got the bump stop rubbers, also picked up a couple of those 6" pursuit/intercepter rims from the local tyre guy so that's another problem solved Smiley
