Brad, I had heard that you can get new after market 14" HK-T-G rims, but did not know that 13" hr type

Looks good
1603  General / General Board / Re: Nasco parts Catalogues on: May 27, 2003, 11:09:23 AM
Hi Slim / Jim / Rob, There are also amendment bulletins that were sent out to the spare parts sellers to update thier catalogues.
I have several catalogues from dealers that have added these amendment bulletins into the catalogue.
These covered deleted parts, with old & new part no. accessories, all manner of bibs & bobs.
In one of these books, there have been added about 30 pages.

Probably by the chrome mould on the glovebox lid, the Special is different from the Standard & Business sedan.

1615  Galleries / Members' FEs and FCs / Re: Fe Van Part 2 on: April 09, 2003, 02:17:08 AM
Jason, Looks like a top job, congratulations. I noticed in the earlier pics that your van had what appear to be sliding windows in the front, if you haven, chucked them or sold them I would be interested, as I only have plain glass in my panelvan & I want to fit a rear seat, they would be good for ventilation.

1617  Technical Board / Modification Help / Re: Collapsible Steering with Standard/HR Box on: March 24, 2003, 09:06:15 AM
Hi Kevin, Does this mod mean that the steering column is now shorter? & if so, by how much.
Did you retain the gear stick tube & 3 on the tree or are you floor shift?

1618  For Sale and Wanted / Parts Wanted / Re: Fillguard Wanted on: February 28, 2003, 03:05:49 AM
Hi Craig, Go to a large plumbing suppliers (not hardware) with the outside diameter. You used to be able to get a stainless steel doover that closely resembles the original (take picture or sketch) the only catch is that the inside diameter will probably be too small & have to be cut to suit. I have an original if you want to borrow it to show to the suppliers.

1619  For Sale and Wanted / Parts For Sale / Re: Olympic air ride tyres on: February 28, 2003, 02:56:23 AM
Howie, Up until around 18mths - 2 years ago you could still order 6.50 x 13" crossplys over the counter at most tyre dealers, I was told they were still in manufacture then for caravan builders.
You may still be able to get them, if not, an offshore brand may be available. Good Luck!

1620  Technical Board / Restoration Help / Re: Roof Gutter Stainless Strips on: February 24, 2003, 12:38:20 PM
Hi Stinky, From memory when I did my FE I was advised to use a stubby straight edge screwdriver & hammer, working very slowly & carefully, starting at the front.

Once you get it started you only have to tap it here & there, be extra careful at the corners & in the middle.

Good luck! Regards Gary. Wink
