14TH OF FEBRUARY 1966 ?, I agree, that looks way too modern, even allowing for a decimal conversion, I thought that the older meters were unpainted alloy cased. I'ts funny when people refer to "old cars"or old or period accessories, they are often talking hk,t,g,q. Maybe I'm over the hill , but old to me is EK & before.

Yeah, Looks like a good starting point Kiwi, I wish our records had been as well kept as New Zealands appear to have been. When I saw the red seats I thought they had been fitted at a later date. It's good to know it's original, that would be a very rare car, even more so now that you have it's lineage. Gary

A lot of older trucks & cars used to have a simple bracket up the front that would catch the tail shaft if the front uni packed it in. Got many a rare part at dollar wallys, is he still there? or gone to the great wrecking yard in the sky Gary

My Ambulance has the luxury adjustable slip on type headrests in a similar colour tan to the seats. They are ok because the backs of the seat are reinforced & the headrest arms have somthing to push against. So they would probably be ok in a panelvan. Gary

Hey Russell, I have an FC Panel van I picked up a few years ago from Loftus, near Sutherland NSW. It is chocolate brown, with side windows fitted, but me name ain't Posum. It appears to have an EJ-EH steering column fitted, grey motor with a WEY rocker cover. "Gary from Cambridge Park"

In order of remarks: Trev, The States...(Caprice if you don't mind) is for sale as there is no more room in the shed. Was that a 5.0 litre V8 I saw in that pic of the FC Limo on your run the other day Hey Norm, I tried to have ride on the back of (the red thing) & I nearly swamped it. I'm looking after it for my son. It is also for sale as he has no more room in his shed either. He has a HR X2 Wagon in there. ED, Mine will probably still look like that in 10 years at the rate I'm going. COL58FE, In 12 months I hope to have my other wagon (219 FC) finished, but not this 1. The poo wagon has 4 doors with it but only the rear ones are original and they are dark brown inside. Regards, Gary
