G'day guys  !

Just a short question  :   The Fc scuff plate  is exactly the same as Fe one ?
Rare spares selling them under Fc fitting.  In the shop no one knew the answer.
I presume they are same, but you never know...

Thanks : Laszlo

Different, FE scuffplates have a flat profile, whilst FC have a raised section running the length of the plate. Supposed to be to repel water from entering the car.

I did find an old thread about the stainless steel scuff plates.  So I  know now the Fc will fitt perfectly to Fe.
Anybody knows if Sam still  making the plates after 10 + years  ?
I did try the number 0358221379,  still working  with the answering machine.
So wait and see.

Yes, his still making them and a few other things too. After I left a message on his home phone he rang me back. 0358221379 still his number.
I'm ordering a set of scuff plates a petrol trim cap and a pair of wiper arm air foil.
Good price too. The set of Fc scuff plates  from  Rare spares is over $400 from him the stainless steel one is  $300 with postage to Brisbane.

You are welcome mate !

Just a side note : the Fc and Fe plates a slightly different,  what Ken was saying the profile flat Fe vs  raised Fc. The end bit on the front one slightly different too. On the rear one for the Fc only has 3 holes vs 4 on the Fe. Not a big deal anyway.

I've got Sam's stainless scuff plates on my EK wagon. Gentleman to deal with, and an awesome product.
