Nasty, I had a rear shokie let go on my 1957 FE
similar to that only the spot welds gave up and the upper mount pulled away from the body
It was a while ago now but I think we drilled out the spot welds and plug welded it back on
Did the same to the other side while we were at it although it didn't let go
On our 1956 FE Business Sedan it's a differnt set up, it has a panel running from side to side so I assume a little tuffer I have often wondered was this just peculiar to the very early girls or was it just on business sedans?
