where you located ?

put a 3.36 in it with normal unis in my opinion better set up with todays smaller tyre heights.

I think the penny has dropped, check the box and each cup, if each cup has a groove around the inside edge closest to the joint and there are 4 circlips in the box then you a front uni joint as it needs a clip on each cup to hold them in place.

Located in gormandale Victoria, the uni has grooves in it the same as the front but only two are in it. Thanks muzzie

I forgot to mention, have another look at your uni, if the dust covers are inside the cup it would be an early one, if so you are welcome to the flanges and bolts, bear in mind the needle rollers could be worn.

yeah g'day Jim, read through "universal problems" thanks for taking the time out to help, i have worked out i need the flange and bolts to fit my tailshaft. Did you say you had some there? Thanks Muzzie
