Hi to All,
            Does anyone know if hk holden brakes bolt straight on to hr disc front-end . I went to get some new disc pads and the only ones that matched was HK Holden .Has anyone else come across this setup.

I have read on another site,I think EH, that they do indeed bolt on but the HR wheels won't fit must use HK or variation there of.

SPIDER
I HAVE HT DISCS FITTED TO MY FC THEY BOLT STRAIGHT ON BUT YOU DO HAVE TO CHANGE TO 14" WHEELS. THE HK,T,G  STEERING ARM IS LONGER THAN HR  AND WILL GIVE A SMALL AMOUNT OF BUMP STEER .I PUT THE HR STEERING ARMS ON TO THE SPINDLES TO KEEP STANDARD GEOMETRY THEY ARE THE SAME BOLT PATTERN

                                      I am glad i have found that out. Dean my 13 inch chromies bolted on, just had to grind a couple of thou off in certain areas where the wheels were hitting the callipers.

Spider I have to say that you put yourself in great jeopardy by grinding the calipers.

This is very unsafe as you would be amazed how much a caliper flexes under load.

I currently work in a brake shop where we do big brake conversions and we have also fixed other peoples creations including ground down calipers which have broken with very exciting consequences.

               The amount that came off was approximately 1mm, i also took them down to the local brake shop to show them what i had done, to check if it was safe and they said there would be no problem. The measurement between the top of the caliper to the bolt holes is 9mm, so there is still alot of meat there. But thankyou for your concern, it is much appreciated
