That rear window area is nasty , i had an 66 XR fairmont 289 toploader and i got the same surprise when i pulled the rear screen.

yer well considering how the rest of the car is iam amazed its that bad but ive restored falcon coupes before so that bit on the EH doesn't concern me in the slightest

alrighty did some more work up in the shed!! paint stripped the bonnet and etch primed it just to discover the can had water in it so i have to sand it smooth again and reprime and the other day did some more repairs to the passenger rear door that had been bent in a crash the car it came from had been in but the doors rust free!!! and ill be heading up to the local wreckers tomorow to get a grille for it aswell!!! AND best of all i did some work on the FE test fitted the grille so it can hold it together while i repair it!!

and ive decided on a colour for the EH its going to be copper red metalic that you'll find on the new mazdas

bit of an update ive bought another EH for $700 and its in better condition then my current one and i pick up on friday!!!

You will need a bigger shed if you dont stop buying cars, but then again I think there is a lot of us with that habit.

its like that  but the eh i got the doors of looked to be in better condition then my current so asked how much got it for 700 with a car load of spares that come with it

alrighty i got my second EH and it has NO rust a few dents but NO rust and hasnt been regoed sence 1985 and has a HP motor and it runs and got a huge pile of spares but these are it next to my other EH!!!

Early EH's had HP motors for the 179 and no casting on the side of the block for the 149, later EH's had 149 and 179 cast onto the side of the block.

Essentially there is no diffence in the blocks. I must admit it always looks nicer to have HP rather than the engine size.

well i got to drive the second EH i picked up on friday and it drives well  and i had to replace the clutch slave i have no idea why lol!!




but i do hope to get this one on the road very soon as its all aligning of panels and getting them straight

Just needs a kit put though it......... and a sleeve and a piston too
