The original fitting instructions are there and for the life of me I don't know why they were done that way. I have never used this method when fitting a heater because the nut looks so bad sitting on top of the crest pressing. I suggest moving the whole thing slightly to the left so that all the nuts are on a level surface. See no 44
Be careful with reverse light switches - lots of ebay sellers claim to sell switches with 4 small holes which will fit FE to HR - NOT TRUE - FB to HR have 4 matching small holes in the column where the switch is mounted. The FE FC switch has a special bracket which mounts to the gear lever bracket bolts - Once again check in accessory of the week for the right picture. See no 17

Maybe somebody who is a club member or one of the moderators could copy it and post it here for you, try asking Stinky nicely . Pedro

Sorry guys, no can do. I know I'll cop stick for it, but at the end of the day it is the clubs that pay for the entire site including the Forum. To keep the site running the clubs need to pay, for the clubs to pay for the site they need members. As a perk, the members get "exclusive" content.

I reckon thats fair enough, it's only $35 ? a year to support the clubs, and as it is you get a heap of help even without being financial.
Some of the benefits you get is "For Sale to Club Members Only" section (I have purchased at least 2 cars through this) and Alex's "Accessory of the Week" usually with the fitting instructions
There is no pressure to go to any club meetings or runs, some members live too far away & some members don't have their cars completed
But for a few dollars, I reckon it's well worth it

And that's all fair enough too.I have full intentions of joining a club but firstly would like to have a vehicle to present to the club and I currently have so much going on that I would not have any spare time to be a participant.I don't want to be a club member that ums and arrs every time something is asked of them just because I don't currently have the time.I would prefer to be an active part of a club. These are my opinions only.I accept rules are rules and therefore will just make an educated decision on how to install my heater and hope I don't F##K it up.Cheers,Jamie.

Philby,
One of the clubs we have down here is the Early Holden Car Club of Tasmania, which has members from around the state. We are based in Hobart, but we have club runs to various parts of the state in order to catch up with our members. Weddo on this forum is the club president. PM him for details/contact numbers if you are keen in joining.
I am certain that you would need to be a member of this club in order to be an FE-FC Holden forum member, as this forum is kind of like an amalgamation of FE-FC Holden/early Holden specific clubs.
Kind regards,
Josh
