O.k, sills and door skin are ordered from,  http://www.retrorodsandrestorations.com.au he isn't doing floor pans at the moment because he wasn't happy with the finish but he still does other FC/FE stuff, got a sneak preview of the FC he's building, i'm not allowed to say anything about it yet, but it's the most radical modification wise that i.ve ever seen, didn't know Tailers press works burnt down so it looks like i'll have to get the pans from rare spares, hopefully within a few days i might finally be able to get started.
I know in an earlier post i said i didn't need to do sills, but when she came back from the sandblasters i discovered some butcher had already been at them, oh well at least i will be able to get at the rust behind them now.

Thanks for the compliments folks makes it seem worthwhile , I've done everything except plumbing and electrics (only because it's not legal for me to), I can faintly see the light at the end of the tunnel now, just got to paint the veranda, fit a couple more of modern windows and a few miscellaneous bits and pieces and it'll be done.
I know there are some things i could do on my car but i really want to start at the beginning and cut the rust out of the shell and work my way from there, also I still haven't decided fully on the choice of engine and drivetrain, I have two wrecked VH commodores sitting here doing nothing, if i came across a HR front end i might go that way and run a blue motor, I like the idea of keeping the grey but I'm a bit concerned about driving all the way to Orange with it.

Thanks, this one was pretty easy after the last effort, just got it finished and most of the kids moved out so we had to downsize, I swear I'll never do another one though, I'll just stick to cars.

I lived in house with my folks and we gave it to the guy down the street and he trucked off with it just like that.  It was cheaper than demo'ing the house and it helped out the guy down the street.

So you should be a dab hand at slicing and dicing cars then pedro?

I like the idea of keeping the grey but I'm a bit concerned about driving all the way to Orange with it.

FE_UTE and I just completed the epic journey across the Nullarbor we both have 132.5 grey motor powered cars and neither of us had any problam overtaking road trains in excess of 50 metres in length and maintaining a cruise speed of between 100 and 110 Kph.

So, Pedro - getting back to you comment about being concerned about a grey making it from Hervey Bay to Orange!  You big wuss!

NosFeratu made it to Canberra and back purring like a little kitten all the way with it's original motor and, as you see above, FE_UTE and FC0058 drove from WA to Mt Gambier with greys!  And, I'm sure there are many others that, based on their experiences, will tell you unequivocally that a grey is more than capable of undertaking the trip to the Nationals!
