Looking really good Pedro, well done.

Have you got door rubbers, etc and where did you get them from?  My RB30 wagon is being painted now so will need to get rubbers, etc very soon.

Cheers, Graeme

Managed to get a couple more days in this week, scored some matching seat covers off ebay, work looks quiet next week so i'm hoping to get a few big days in and really make some progress, thanks for all the positive comments guys it always helps with the motivation, not that i need too much motivation at this point it's getting pretty exciting seeing the old girl finally coming together Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin, I got my rubbers through rares about 4 years ago Graeme, so far most of them have been alright, i'm a bit concerned about the windscreen one though i've read on another post on here that they don't fit very well, another RB30 wagon hey how have you been going with that i don't recall seeing anything about it on here, i'd be interested in seeing some pics, hey Craig (White FC) where did you get your tailshaft done, up in Toowoomba or down this way??

Pedro, if you have any issues with the screen rubber, contact Rare Spares and you should get a replacement straight away. If no joy with your local supplier, get straight onto head office since this is a known problem.

Thanks guys, been flat out on the old girl every chance i've had, all the door bits painted, door catches and locks working, rear door windows in and working, chrome trim polished and fitted etc, couldn't do the front doors yet as the painter did the wind deflectors the wrong colour and had to re do them, all good though, he will have the upper and lower tailgate ready by the end of next week and the guards and bonnet the week after so she should be finished in about three weeks.

Hey Pedro,

At this rate it looks like you will have her done in time for the Nats, is that your goal? If so, on your way down you better call into Essendon and get the Bombers to get a photo with the car  Grin Grin Grin

No unfortunately i won't be going to the Nats this time GOA350 i've spent a hell of a lot of dough on the old girl in the last few months and it's stretched my finances a bit too much, sounds like the next one is going to be closer to home though so i'll definitely make that one  Wink, yeah getting close Wayne, you must be just about finished yours too ??, got the windscreen fitted the other day and apart from having to cut the rubber a bit so the chrome trim would fit in it all went pretty easy, had a tailshaft made and fitted it yesterday and today i took her over to get an exhaust fitted, so far it looks like i'm going to meet my deadline with no problems (see under shows etc.)

Thanks Dave, Jaime, couldn't wait that long for a coldy though mate in fact i'm sitting here sipping on one right now  lol, I think i deserve one now though after spending the last 2 1/2 days crawling under the old girl trying to figure out the fuel problem, what started it was the in tank fuel hose turning into a blob of goop and then one at a time both the inner and outer pumps shit themselves ( with lots of stuffing around in between  Wink), anyway two new pumps later it's all running good now, a question for you Pete, she revs fine in neutral but in gear as soon as i get to about 2 1/2 - 3 thousand rpm she just dies, gave her a wash and went for a strap down the rd. today, on a deadline to get her finished at the moment a mate of mine is having a car show and 50's rock and roll night next Friday and he wants the FnC in it, if everything comes together as planned i will make it.  Grin Grin

A trick with the fuel pumps get rid of the 2 and just run a V6 commodore one $36 bucks in the tank does a great job.
Sounds like the computer is not getting the signal from the auto gearbox make sure thats plugged in and is getting the signal.
Also they are prone to shagging coils so could be that
Also crack the fuel cap just to make sure shes not starving that way..

let me know how you go.

That is one very very sweet looking ride Pedro, congratulations on a first class job.   Smiley

I get mine back from the painter on Tuesday, so that gives me 29 days to put it all together for the boat trip.....

Cheers, Graeme
