G'day,

Can someone give me a clue as to the best type of spark plugs to use on my modified 186 (192) engine? Basically its more or less  XU1 spec.

Thanks,

Grah.

Try NGK 6's or 5's with a 1mm gap.  If you have a blue electronic distributor setup you can run a slightly bigger gap 1.1 to 1.5max.  I Use NGK6ES11's with my electronic setup with a 1.1 gap.  hope that helps.

Thanks mate,

That helps a lot. I have an electronic set up, so will try the NGK's.

Regards,

Grah.
