Hi,

I've borrowed a Holly off a mate while my twins are restored, and need a few tips.  See photo below.

On his 186 with a rocker cover with two holes it was set up as follows:

1 - to rocker cover without a pcv valve
2 - to second rocker cover hole with pcv valve
3 - to brake booster.

My rocker cover only has one hole.

a) should I run outlet 1 (from filter) to the rocker cover and plug up outlet 2?

b) should I plug up 1 and run outlet 2 to a pcv valve in the rocker cover?

c) should I plug up 3 and run the booster to 2 and run 1 to the rocker cover without a pcv?

any other suggestions?

sorry about the size of the photo
Cheers
Dave

ace that is exactly how my car was but I am now looking for a better way, probably just with a breather or oil catch can.

Hi Guys.

Do exactly what ACE has said, but don't forget to run a vented oil cap.

When Holden used the rocker cover with 2 holes they had a sealed oil cap. If you only have a 1 hole cover you must use a vented cap.

If the engine is a bit sad & has excessive blow-by, you may have you get a 2 hole cover &/or a vented catch can.
