Very tidy Pete, they both look great, love the awning

Yep unless you're there with it it's best to keep it locked, when we had our van at Motorfest a few years ago I got an angry "excuse me I was here first" from a lady while I was trying to get into it to get a beer out of the ice box!

I think you had better step away from the spanners & go on a holiday now

Well done Pete, like I said earlier in the post, the van looks good behind the wagon! The combo blends well and it is a pity that there are some idiots out there that don't respect other people's property.

I said its locked to keep people like you out.
Fair enough I think.

It's brilliant Pete, and it displays your absolute dedication to produce the ultimate. Thanks for sharing the journey.

The ute pics are here FC Ute

Wheels are from the states. Very heavy but cool 17x7 and 17x8 Vintiques.

On another subject

A lesson learnt on the weekend. I have been having issues with a gutless red motor.
Really underpowered to what i was expecting turns out the front carby was not working due to a slipping linkage also whoever made the throttle linkage had messed up changing the pivot point so it was only getting half throttle. Also the accelerator pedal had a lot of slop in it. After fixing all these problems she is now a thoroughbred totally different car i am quietly confident it would even spin the wheels now.

Ready for its big trip friday out west towing the van so we will see how it goes.

Well i made the annual trip to mendooran .
Head on into a 50kmh westerly.
The poor old girl got buffeted pretty bad the wind was relentless throwing the van and wagon around.
Glad i have electric brakes to straighten her up.
Its 6.30 am freezing cold flogging down rain and the wind has started to howl.
The little van is very comfy and annexe has not pooled with water.

Hot off the engraver my new centre caps.
Yet to be painted but they will go inside the gts caps.
I drew it on corel draw they modified in solidworks
Pretty happy with them.

They may look a bit scratchy but they will come up smick.
