Simple things are often the best Scotty.  Grin Grin

Hey Jack, sorry just saw you comment at the bottom about the hinges, short answer is I don't know but I will find out for you and hopefully get some more pics of the set up for you.

Thanks mate, they are at their furthest setting to allow access to the dash. Can get a 6"6' person in there with the little parcel shelf out.
My short legs need the seat at its most forward setting.  Grin

The hard cover timber is being recessed further so that it sits flush with the metal. Should look really neat when done!

Cheers

Having a look at the bonnet Nes sold me a few years ago... A dodgy one!  Tongue Tongue Needed some love as it was flexing.

Couple of spot welds had cracked, and after 50 odd years the rubber sealant had gone... Lucky we did as there was hidden rust underneath that need looking at as well.

Wipers installed to see if they will snag on the A/C and the computer.

Then the clutch set up.  Grin

I love the "red outs" lol. Mine are coming along slowly due to establishing new shed/house etc.

Been a little while since I got some photos, the clutch set up has been done and the wipers have been redone as the original set up fouled where the A/C needed to be.
The timber on the hard top was lowered and now just needs to get covered with fabric.
Brake lines done this week and the A/C done next Monday.
Hopefully back to the paint shop not long after that to look a bit more special!

Came to Aus to look at the state titles on the weekend! Some very nice cars there! Well done to Jack, Brett, and new member Glen on getting their cars on the road... They all look fantastic!

While here I got some more updated shots of the ute.

Hard top just needs to be covered now with Fabric, brake lines, clutch line, power steering hoses and Air cond getting hooked up today.

A/C is behind the glovebox, have used a wiper motor from a mini and is working well.

Love the work Cory has done for me, and it goes to paint tomorrow.

Good to catch up yesterday JB, Just thinking more about the front end and realised your putting an 8 in yours. Mate of mine has the same front end in a HR with a injected 5L and he is running 7 inch shocks with 8 inch springs and gives it a good ride height. Might be something worth considering. Cheers, Jack
