Mate of mine had a whoops in an LC GTR. Took it to a panel shop for repair and was eating a violet crumble. That's the colour the car ended up being. Looked great too

Like I said only a little colour... Painted yesterday.

Subframe probably have some colour on it today.

I had seen this colour a couple of years ago and I liked it straight away, but went through about 10 different choices since the start of the build and came back to this one the most. Then all of the show cars started coming out with Orange and I nearly changed again, but there are not too many orange FE Utes getting around.  It's Valencia Orange off a BMW series 1 M, the photos don't quite do it justice. The subframe needs to be painted white before the base colour goes on.

The engine will be fitted on the weekend so any scratches get a chance to be touched up... Hopefully no touch ups!!

My sedan was going to ba an orange and black, or orange and peraled white at some point, but like you said a $hit load of cars appeared in orange over about 30 months so that idea has been dismissed.

I was going to guess the colours of Hawthorn Brown and Gold..........

Looks a treat Jase.  Just need to paint your BMW bike the same colour now.

When you say sealer for the subframe, do you mean at the top where the subframe meets the body, like a polyurethane sealer?

I used windsreen sealer between subframe and fire wall, this way you can seperate later if you get the urge to rebuild it again.
