Hi all
Here are a few photos of my FC

We bought it off the family that purchased it new, it is a Bendigo car but spent a few years in Adelaide. It was last registered in 1991, it had a reconditioned FB motor in 1977 and has only done about 8000 miles since the rebuild, it also had some work done in 1990 this included all brakes redone, some suspension work, clutch overhauled also some other little things done.

My plans are to get the rust fixed and just give it a general tidy up then get it registered to have as a weekend driver.

Here are the id details for whoever is interested

BODY IDENTIFICATION
No FC/225 – 2406M
 TRIM   No   264 – 637
PAINT   No   256 – 2031
R.P.O.       253 – 2053   TOP

Sub frame Number
8 5902M

Engine number B298980
Original engine number L464870

Original rego number: GVC887

Thanks for looking

Very nice indeed.
Love the colour combo.....you don't see too many in those colours.
Good luck with the resto.
Keep us posted.

Hi Mark
Welcome to the forum and welcome to the FE FC family. It is good to see another classic holden being placed back on the road.
The car looks great and will look even better once it back on the road.

Cheers Jim

RUST
what rust? looks very very clean ,even the chrome is all very nice. great first car bud. my first car was also an FC and i loved it, not as clean as yours is and that was 30years ago, so this machine has been very well cared for.
im sure you will get lots of enjoyment out of it.

Hi,
Thanks for the replies everyone,
i dont think i will be lowering it just yet TAYZ but maybe one day Tongue
There isnt that much rust in it fortunately but there is a little bit in the front floor, the peice that runs above the cross member that hopfully shouldn't be too hard to fix.
