and from me Wayne. I picked up today's SMH TV guide, to find a photo of Clive Robertson sitting in a grey FE. Looks suspiciously like yours If so it would be Grey Power in a grey, grey Cheers John

I saw the pics in the paper too: we might be able to get them up here after the budget (our contact at Fairfax will be pretty busy with that today ) I dunno about Aunty Agnes tho, I'm pretty sure that's " Agony Aunts with Clive Robertson". Not on tonight due to Extended Dance Mix version of 7.30 Report: will start next Tuesday 16th at 8.00pm. No-one else commented, but Wayne shares his birthday with the FC Holden. Happy (belated) Birthday, FC. 48 years young. cheers RET

Is the car going to be part of the show on a regular basis?
Why did Clive Robertson get the boot from Radio Classic or whatver it's called (yeah i listen to it on my clock radio lol)... he just disappears and re-morphs into a personable looking old bloke in a grey FE.
Wayne, there is a grumpy old bloke touching up your car!
get him to sign the glove box or something.
make sure he writes something grouchy.
Cheers
Ed

Is the car going to be part of the show on a regular basis? Apparently, yes. Wayne spent a day a week or so participating in filming for the show, taking the car to the various locations, from whence Clive would "appear" to drive up to bestow upon the lucky peons his words of life advice. Or something. Apparently he introduced himself to Graham (who tagged along on one such occasion) with something along the lines of "I think anybody who belongs to a car club is sad and needs to get a life" (or words to that effect - I'm sure Graham can correct me). He clearly needs to spend some quality time in the Nasco Social Club. Or on the bonfire outside. cheers RET

Hey Les, Dissappointed.......is that the best you can do? Publish photos we received on Monday Where's the inside info.. you know the story, the buzz, the vibe, what happened when Clive touched the paint with his ring finger, crunched gears finding first when he stopped, marked the scuff plate when he got in? didn't know where reverse was? Did Wayne need a Bex and a good lie down? Come on man! do your stuff Cheers John (FE owner without cranky former celebrity scratching stuff)

I seem to remember the statement went something like this" people in car clubs are all strange". What a way to talk to someone you just met and also considering he wouldn't be driving this grey FE if it weren't for a car club. He's just a pompous old man. Anyway watch the show maybe he has developed a personality that people can tolerate. Cheers, Graham

I don't think Clive is a car person. I seem to remember he went in one of the celebrity races at the Australian F1 GP in about 1990 when they drove Pulsar Vector SSSs (remember the boxy ones with the viscous coupling LSDs) and he was actually a non-driver at the time and had to learn from scratch.
Don't know why I remember such incidental rubbish when I get the names of my own children mixed up? Luckily I haven't called my wife by the wrong name yet.
Good to see such a fine car on TV anyway (the FE I mean). Nice colour(?) too.
Dave
