Just wanting to find out if a group shot is being organised at the Nationals?

The one from the Jindabyne Nationals is impressive, but, the shot is so wide that it doesn't do the cars justice.

May I suggest we scout a location where the cars can be parked in a group (rows and columns) with a 2-3 storey vantage point nearby. Maybe even arrange the cars in the numbers five and zero (50th) if there is time.

Hi Glenn,
The cars will be parked in two rows, herringbone pattern on Pit Lane.  Shots can be taken from the grand stand, or on top of the pit garages.
On Sunday the cars will be parked on the Esplanade in 3 rows with the road blocked to other traffic.  Perhaps from a first floor (or higher) room at The Conti you could take some shots.
At Wonthaggi there will be another opportunity to take photos with the cars parked in a horseshoe shape on a hill.
Have to think more about the 50. Cheers, Tony.
