Hi Folks,
I thought I had my wiring sussed...car going great, no dramas. Was driving home in the dark the other night when I noticed I had no tail lights...doh! seems they turn off when the park lights go off/headlights come on....

So, a question for anyone who has used an Air-ride or Painless wiring kit.  There are only a limited number of wires going to rear which can be used for lights (mine are called R/L turn, tail light, stop light, back-up light).  I used 2 of these to one dual filament bulb for turn/reverse and two to another dual filament bulb for brakes and (I thought) tail light. Have I wired the other end of the tail-light wire to the wrong position on the light switch? If so which position do I use? If not how do you get power to the tail-light wire when headlights are on?

thanks, Jon

H i Jonno.

Does this 'painless' kit use it's own light switch or are you using a Holden light switch.

With the Holden switch the terminal that you need is there. Use a test light light to work it out.

OK thanks Dr Terry,

I am using the original switch....guess I must have wired into a park light slot by mistake.  Will pull the dash out tomorrow and have a play.
