FC Van For Sale

Just found an FC Van for sale on http://www.oldholden.com if anybody's interested.Shows a photo of it.Only put up for sale on the site today it seems.

I have come to the conclusion that I am running out of time here and need to sell off some yet to be built projects. One such project is the FC van I picked up for the wife last year at Toowoomba swap. This needs to be sold so we can finish off our other projects. This van has an excellent body and includes some new parts. Also included are some excellent rust free side cuts to return the van to windowless. There is no motor or box - but I can supply a drive line at extra cost and I can also supply a HR front end at extra cost.

Nice looking van would make a cool slammed FE, shame though that some of the carry on that happens around here has probably meant that it got advertised at old holden rather than here!!

Hopefully someone here might be able to bring it back to where it belongs

Lol - well Im not proud - I will stoop to advertising it here lol...- as I have - but I was not aware that someone else had already done this for me... Thank you for that .  Your commentts are correct - because of the small minded folk  that  have some sort of issue  with professionals here -I have avoided this site. I received a number of  phone calls  yesterday and today from the nice people on this site and oldholden.com asking  me to  advertise it here.
So here I am -  This Van has to go and very shortly- Need the money for an airfare to NZ- I am appreciated a bit more there!

This is the wifes van so  I am selling it for her- My  ticket has to be paid for soon  and  so the price is negotiable.

But I gotta say, Burnsy & Terry, I am not 100% sure what you guys mean buy "Carry On"? Some here have a bit of fun & if you don't like that, well that is your choice, to read or not to read. I would have to admit (& quite proudly), that I am one of the"Offenders" you are reffering to, but I have given a lot to this site & in a lot of cases, individual advice, info & help. You take that, you get the extras. I may be a smart arse shite stirrer, but it is funny how many PMs & Emails I get asking for info, parts etc, from people who don't approve of my antics.
God I misss Emu & his humour.

Streetneat LEFT the site because we were too elitist & "Stick in the Mud" for his liking. That is his choice & I don't begrudge him for that.

Old.Holden is a cool site, but if you think that there they don't carry on, you are FOOLING yourselves. One thread I had a good laugh about, was a guy who wanted that nights Neighbours episode taped & then there was 20 or 30 replies bagging, swearing, mocking him & him retaliating.  Then there is the everyday crap that goes on as well.
No one is perfect.

Maybe a step back and look at the bigger picture everyone ,Ive learnt to handle reading the banter and irrelevant stuff that goes with this forum but I think the main idea here is that this place with all the effort put in by so many members and respectable people should be a very enjoyable place to visit ........

Not knocking it Rob, I am an avid reader of the "carrry on" and find it amusing in the most.  As Harko says you just take it as part of the territory.  My wording was probably not quite right in that first post and I generally believe that everyone is just having some fun but some people can't handle it and take it personally.  To be honest, without the banter I would find the site pretty sterile and would certainly not log on on every day.  Giving a bit of stick is as Australian as Holden so it seems natural that the two go together.

Hey if I was one of those easily offended type I would be in an asylm from having to take it every day as a teacher, generally I hear "I hate you Mr Burns" far more than thankyou but you just ignore it - except when one charming 10 year old chose to threaten my car, he found himself working from home the next day
