I know this is not FE/FC related and I know I'm a very naughty boy for posting this on FE/FC forum but was hoping someone could help with some codes from an EK Special sedan I've just bought.Looking to find colours for following:-

Trim  542-968......... "Valley and Kentucky Green" Huh??

Paint  585-025.......   It's a pale green if that's any help

EK 225  1737 S   Early Sydney production???

Oh and its got an early FC engine L 460328 so  it's a little bit FE/FC related !!!

Thanks in advance for any help from members, all help appreciated.

Regards Terry.

Hi Terry.
You are spot on with the trim names.
Also, it is a low number Sydney build car as you assumed. I had FB 215-108M...now THAT is a low build car! I also know someone here on the forum who had EK 229 - 4 M  Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked
You got the chassis number there to? Will tell you where it was bunged together.

FB EKs are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay cool.

Thanks Rob.I havn't picked up the car yet and bought it sight unseen (a $300 purchase and complete, running but front RH guard accident damaged, last rego June '05 so can't go wrong no matter what cond its in)but anyway the fellow gave me the subframe number EK 52285 but left out the last letter in the email he sent.As the body is EK 225 1737 S I'd guess the subframe number would also be a Sydney number ie:- EK 52285 S.
I've also got a FB 215 Standard sedan FB 215 1104 S although not as low as your FB 215!!!.
I've now got 5 EK's and 2 FB's so if your interested in the ID details of them I'll send you a PM with the numbers.
I wonder where the EK 229 4M is now???
Gotta go as I'm probably stretching the FE/FC friendship talking FB/EK on this forum(sorry guys)

Terry.
