I have a SS VY 11 and as you know they are quiet in sound. What small modification can I make so when I give it a bit of gas the sound will purrr ?? Some people tell me it's the exhaust???

Hi Denis,

I dont think there are small mods that exist to make a car sound better.

A new exhaust system with some nice mufflers will do the trick.

Depending on where you are..

I use Tuffy Alexandria in Roseberry (Syd), they can recommend brands etc based on your car and your budget.

FWIW, I just had my car noise tested and it passed at 94db at 3000 rpm.  using magnaflow mufflers no cats.

I had a vy ss and had a 2 muffler remus system put on it .It had a deep note but didn"t drone in the cabin.Cheers Greg
