AO interior code

g'day,
        here some pic's of the door trim's and roof lining in my fe,the trim's seem to be padded.as for the visor's they have  colour coded edging would this be what the AO code stand's for.or maybe a re-trim job at some stage.

That colour co-ordinated trim is standard for a special, if you know what I mean.  The AO code appears on the ID plate of all Sydney built FEs, and is believed to be in reference to a different supplier used for trim materials there.  This topic has been discussed before.  Do a search for "AO AQ" (all words) and you'll find this and this.

    no worries but  :-/the info i could find is very limited,
it doesn't tell ya if the padded style door trim's are
genuine.as for the material it's not as course as the
non-AO trim's,very smooth.
just trying to find out wheather to keep this style
or not (padded).
guess it's not to important as i'am changing the interior  to red/black and exterior to gloss black.

Your trims appear to be non standard - ie VERY padded.
The visor pattern appears to be original, but impossible to tell material type from a photo.
Original padding was only a few mm thick.

                 visor's are genuine same as roof linning whirly pattern. as for the door trim's that very padded look is going. thank's again ken.
