Rolled into the service station this morning to get a pink slip for our caravan and saw this little beauty....

In for some work on the steering column... apparently it's having trouble turning left...

Just thought I'd share a few pics... I thought it was a sweet looking FC! Great stance on her....
Cheers

Yeah, the colours were cool... you don't even notice it's a two-tone when you first see it, but from different angles and colours look different.

The owner wasn't there, but the mechanic told me it had a grey in it, and that's all I know. I originally thought it must've had a red. Apparently the old girl has been to the mechanics a bit lately for various things, but sterring was the issue this time...

I think they're putting an FB column in as they couldn't source an FC one in time....

Most likely ROH, but could be one of a few manufacturers. They used to be known as Kidney or Peanut Mags, looks like they are 5 slot, which was pretty typical.

Lots appear on eBay.

I think you'll find they are the 6 hole type Craig.

Here's a finished listing from ebay,

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=36612&item=4569799501

email the guy to see if he's still got them if you're interested.... I notice he hasn't relisted them yet.

Yep, your exactly right. Would that make them 14" wheels then? Or maybe the holes are slightly smaller allowing the six to fit?

Most of the 13" type I remember were 5 slotters, like the ones on eBay you linked to.

Cheers,

Craig.

Hi,

Nice car...

My bro's EH has 6 hole type rims being 13 inch.  unsure of brand can check it out if really interested.

Can't say they flatter the car's appearance tho, the wheels will be replaced with widened steelies soon.

Cheers

Ed

Sweet ride.
Love the colours.
Did you leave a club card?
Might be a handy thing the next time he/she is looking for parts.

Nicko
Heres a photo, I think it would only be suitable for a donor car now but you never know. I don't know the owner, I got the photo off a mate who seen the car after the smash.

I must admit that I'd seen this FC around Engadine plenty before, just never had the camera on me when I saw it.... Always thought it looked sweet! I'm VERY glad I finally took a photo when I did BTW.....!

I'll see if I can find out any more info....
