Hi,

Does anyone know if it is possible to run two twin barrel downdraught strombergs on a twin stromberg manifold on a red motor?

If they were jetted correctly on motor with a good head/cam/exhaust etc would they run well?

Just something a bit different keeping with the classic look.  Seeing the prices xtreme fuel systems sell these carbs outright for just made me wonder.

Would they have the potential to outperform a Holly 350 twin barrel set up?

I know of someone selling a red 6 2x2 barrell holley manifold, however I think on the road it would be pretty crappy compared to a 1x 4 barrell.
as for if the 2x2 stromberg manifold would be better than the 1x 2 barrel holley, I guess it would depend a bit on the engine modifications and what it will be used for.
usually the best all rounder for a 186 to 202 is a small four barrel like a holley 390.
all carbs are classic looking now.
