is a red motor starter motor intercahnable with original grey motor ones??? i do remember that one has 2 holes and one has three, but do the line up ok

They do bolt up, but not recommended.
I believe it's something about the teeth not lining up with the ring gear properly or something.

Hey TorqueFC,

On my EK project I'm pretty sure it has a red starter on a grey motor and it sounds terrible when starting.  I wouldn't recommend it.
