Hi Alex. True, it is a little bit (Read; "Long way") outside my budget for a Standard. Goodluck to him.
Thanks for the heads up on the location. You fancy a crooze to check it out? Slab in it for you next time I am over. Craig A was going to check it out, but it may be too far away for him.
Regards, Rob J

Let's not start that again. Old cars are worth what someone is prepared to pay for them. Whether you or I agree with the owner's valuation is beside the point.
I see no benefit in arguing the point about the owner's asking price, only a down-side. After all, if prospective sellers come here and see critical commentary from world+dog about other cars listed from people who haven't actually seen them, is that more or less likely to make them want to list their car here?
cheers RET

Even though its an FE, I would have to put it in my dream garage, right along side FE_STD_Wagons car and Des's ute.
Cheers Jim

Hi Guys. Missed the post you deleted, RET. But thanks. George is a really nice old fella & the girl who has posted this for him (Anne) is also cool. He is not sure of what the car is worth, so he has put that price out there to see what happens. I have spoken to Anne regarding the price & she will pass it onto George. But as you said, if he wants $20,000 for his car, well, that is what it is worth to him. Who is to say, someone with that monbey floating around & a severe hankering for an FE Van with a Dickie seat wont pay?
I do have another couple of photos, but they are bloody hard to shrink, as they use a different program that I haven't seen before. If anyone needs me to email them for a look, just PM me with you email addess.
Goodluck to George, I say.

Thanks for that, Alex. Just found out what the problem was at this end, regarding trouble converting & posting pics. The work computer (Home computer is F&*%ED thanks to a Spyware / Virus ) recieves the photos & automatically converts them into another type of photo (Not Jpeg). Buggered if I know why. I couldn't get my head around it & had trouble converting them on here. Looks good, scrounging for money, may get there :-/ Rob J
