I have just sold my kombi(for those that can remember it) and I will be after a wagon, I would like one in Adelaide or close to.
I really would like one that is complete or a part restored one.

I also know that quite a few people are after them but with a wife, a 3 year old and another due in 4 weeks I really do need the room that a wagon has.

Cheers

Ummmm, except for blokes on an FE/FC forum.  Tongue

Try the FB EK forum or contact the FB/EK clubs - I'm sure there's something floating round.

Cheers,

Craig.

Its just that this is a more popular site and I know that some members have them or might know of one.

Sorry forgot to add, that I was originally after an earlier one like an FC but they seam really hard to find, so I thought an FB or EK would be a better bet.

Maybe if you started using the FB/EK site others will follow and it too will become a popular site?

Dave,

Good luck with your search, and take your time. Careful of grabbing the first one that comes up as its not always the best. Pay the most you can possibly afford, a cheap one will always cost you more in the long run.

At least you'll be able to drive it on hot days without the fear of it catching on fire, unlike the Kombi........ Lips sealed :-)

Cheers,

Craig.

Funny you should say that as when I bought the kombi it had been sitting in a shed for 20 years as it had an engine fire and was all rusty in the back.
It still had soot on the windows.

Sorry but I cant resist, I know this is a Holden site but heres a pic of my kombi.
A buyer arrives today from Tasmania to pick it up.

Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice!!
I do like the Kombi's. Tassie you say? I will keep an eye out for it. Always wanted a Kombi like that.....but then again, there are about 500 cars that I have "Always wanted"!!

Goodluck with the wagon search.
If you are looking FE FC, there is one listed on this site. Sarge or Jim (FC0058) (Can't remember which) know of it & place an ad for it the other night. Worth a look, a very nice car.
Here is the link.

Phantom,
I have been using the FB EK site for awhile now & it is STILL very quiet. It is just that this site gets more traffic, & there is a good chance that someone here will have, or will know of one.

I will post it anywhere that I think I might have a chance of getting one, nothing like asking as many people as possible, I even asked on the VW site.

There's an FE Wagon in the Trading Post at the moment, it's the same one I looked at a while back. A little too much work for me though.
Rare Car at a bargain price if you have skills.

MAKE/MODEL:  Holden FE
PRICE:  $1,700.00
BODY:  station wagon

Holden FE wagon, 173 4 speed, discs, chromies, needs work, $1700 or near offer, VMF-636 WALKLEY HEIGHTS 0416-09 0686.

Just wondering is this not the FE/FC site.

Just getting really tiered of EK/FB and every other model that seem to take over.
