Does anyone have a photo they can post that demonstrates how they have gone about modifying linkages etc to facilitate a twin Stromberg set up whilst retaining the factory accelerator shaft across the firewall? ie. Not a cable accelerator conversion.

Maybe an X2 set up would demonstrate the concept as well?

Edward,
Check out the photos section of the web page, burnsy has posted some pics of my engine bay with the setup you have described. I had to modify the accelerator lever to miss the manifold but apart from that it's all stock. I had to change the return spring for a stiffer one as well due to the stock spring not shutting the throttle properly.

If you need some closer pics, let me know and I'll take some this weekend.

Hope this helps

Jason,

Thanks for the tip, however, it is a bit hard to see, so a close up would be great.

The other issue is that I'm not sure if an FC and EK linkage are the same, as in the standard position and lever length, the set up won't work in my car.

By the way, great looking car.

Regards
