Cool pics Craig.

Looks as thou they just stuck numbers on their daily driver with masking tape and went racing for the day.

Cheers a-c

Great pics Craig  Smiley

Hey a-c
yea ,  even up to the middle 80's this was happening , lot's of guys would turn up at open meetings or club meets  in their street cars , they'd drive them to the track , get scrutineered ( roll bar, race suit , fire extinguisher , crash hat , all that was needed ) pull a set of race tyres out of the boot/back seat ,stick on some No's , then line up on the grid  Cool and wait for the flag to drop.  Grin
Saw a few street cars go home on trailers too .  One guy rolled his wife's shopping car (Escort) she was a little upset . Another  particular one was an SLR 5000 , 2 weeks after they were released (brand new) , bent it big time ,   I started going out with this "bird" from Concord  (now my Mrs) turned out to be her next door neighbour  ..... :-/
