OK, I know this is off topic, but if you can't find something interesting on these pages, your not into cars.
Several pages of auctions from George Barris' collection. Click on a pic of the car to get the history. Interesting how low some of these cars sold for.

Caution.....for dreamers only!!!

Also check out Georges website:http://www.barris.com/
Lots of cool cars, sure to bring back plenty of memories to some of the "old guys" round here

Yeah Stinky,
I thought the same thing.  Whatever is popular at the time, I guess.
Also, Dukes of Hazard wrecked about 10 cars while filming each episode, so what are you really buying?
Interesting all round, really.
For my money, I'd grab the American Graffitti Chev!
A nice little nostalgia trip. Cheesy

What a site, there were some bargains there. Being a Caddilac type of bloke lot 832 a  '64 Caddie Fleetwood for $14,000 looked good, until I saw lot 862 a '72 Caddie Hearse (Eddie Munster would be proud). Lot 871 a '60 Caddie Coupe was about the money at $27,000.

The best buy had to be lot 868 Richard Petty's 1986 Winston Cup Pontiac race car in full trim for only $6,000. The picture only showed the left hand side so maybe the right hand side had some battle damage after leaning on a few walls during the '86 season.

Ah, for dreamers only alright.

Derrick.

Went to the Barris site IHADAV8 posted and bought a couple of his books for myself for upcoming birthday & father’s day.  They arrived yesterday and managed a quick peek at the flamed book before they were confiscated until I was "officially" given them.

Let me just say WOW.  some of the kustomizing in there was fantastic.  If you like wild then get yourself a copy of these to read.

Cheers
