Has any one had trouble with the the splined end of the wiper pivot shafts beeing loose.
I have 4 sets of connector link assemblies and all the left hand side wipper arm connectors are loose.  Roll Eyes

Is there a way of fixing the splined ends to the shafts,
any trick to fixing them would help.
(I am sick of the left wiper arm parking its self half way up the screen all the time and the nock tick nock tick nock tick of the arm hitting the windsheld trims.)  Angry

Hi John,

Yes I have fixed the problem (so far so good) by using a small aluminium roll-pin.
About half way down the splined end I drilled a 0.9mm hole strait through the shaft and inserted a 12.5mm Long X 1.5mm wide aluminium roll-pin.

I did this to both the left and right sides and they have been working great for the last three weeks.
They have had a good run with the rotten weather in Melb.

Hope this helps you.

Regards,
Steve
