Stinky,
Cheers for putting up the pics for me.  This ol girl is an original 55000- mile.  Still running on cross ply tyres and the interior is better than the outside of the car.  The original owner of this car was 58 yrs old when he purchased it!  I think it went off the road about the mid 70's and sat in a shed since when the owner before me bought it in 1992.  he put brand new brakes on and got a roadworthy for his daughter to drive which she refused due to the column shift.  It then sat in his shed until now when I bought it, thanks to TMUDDIE.  I have put on brand new extractors and a two inch sports system and lowered it.  Coming is porta walls and personalised plates.  The only rust is in both A pillars which I have organised to be fixed very soon.  The car starts first pop every day and is a gem to drive, hopefully soon will get to one of the Vic meetings.

Your spot on FE hotrod.   Want a venetian and scratch plates but cant afford at the moment.  My goal is to find these on a wreck!! (i doubt it)  Have also got twin carbie manifold and linkages a friend gave me so I will also be putting on twin carbies hopefully in nextcouple of weeks.  I tried vintage tyres for flappers but there is a two month wait, where else can I get them now??

Tayz
We look forward to seeing both you and your car at a meeting as soon as you car.The best and soonest oppurtunity would be at our upcoming State titles on the 24th of April at Wattle Park. Entries close on the 15th so you still have time and a perfect spot to show off the piece!! If you need more info send me a PM or see events section or Vic Site hope you can attend.

Have just had both side pillars fixed and a new section replaced on the left hand guard.  Will put some pics on next week of the job as it has come up very well indeed!  My hat goes off to colin STEVENS who did the job and charged me a good price for the job.  The car should need next to nothing now for roadworthy (hopefully)  No items were purchased from rare spares for this job with Colin fabricating all bits done.

Thanks again Stinky for posting the pics.  Have had both pillars done with left hand side shown.  Left hand guard has had new section put in.  Car has come up trumps!!! Have put a few new badges on thanks to Stinky, and a rear venetian.  Have touched up a few things with paint.  Since these pics were taken I have bolted the guards and front bumper back on.  Next couple of weeks, dual carbies being fitted.  No rego until the weather gets better.  Awaiting portawalls (hope FE HOTROD comes through from the states).  Want this car perfect by Phillip Island!!!
