someone sent this pic to me today...
my guess is its not a stock grey motor.
looks like he carrys a spare motor in the back Shocked
anybody got any info on it?

Ahh that's were the Canadian big block grey ended up!!  Must be running twin carbies to get that sort of pickup....he he Grin

Strip Tripper was an FE Wheelstander from the early 70's that featured a rear mounted 'Cusso' V8.
Check out the colour shot from the cover of Aust Hot Rod, sept '71.

looks even better in colour ..thanks alex.

i guess he steers it with independant rear brakes.

I can see how the independent brakes would steer it a little... but have a look at his line of sight! It wouldnt matter if he was blindfolded - the vision is zero!

I think it would be pretty scary Shocked

Although not visible in the photo, I believe the car had a hole in the flor for vision.  Some captions I have on the car state that it could actually be driven round corners using the rear wheel brakes alone.
