 :)G Day.
Just an update on the car from Trundle.
I'm up to the engine and the gear box stage now.
Here is a photo of the gear box.

Very impressive Leon.

Where do you get your zinc plating done, and what preparation of the parts do you undertake yourself prior?

I'll see you on Tuesday with the harmonic balancer tool.

Regards

 :)G Day Eddy and thanks.
Plating Australia 15 Cunningham st Moorebank.
Phone 98224633. They have done all my zinc parts for this one and the Standard.
Just take in all your parts in and they charge around $30 maybe a little more if you back up a truck.
I told Geoff Klimpsch about them and he took all his parts there as well. I think he's happy with the results.
As for the preparation of parts Its very important to make sure all the parts are (clean)all rust removed.
I spray acrylic clear or color on the parts that don't need to be zinc plated then I use thinners to remove it after I get them home and its all like new. See you on Tues Night & I'll tell you moore.
Regards Leon. Wink
