FOR SALE

FC Standard Sedan - Brisbane
- 132 Grey Motor (needs rebuild - bottom end failure)
- 3 speed column
- original 13" rims
- kingpin front end
- unknown milage
- older interior resto (cloth trim)
- 1 small rust hole in passenger sill, otherwise RUST FREE
- paint fair, some cracking due to older over spray
- new clutch (approx. 6 months old)
- new shoes, good drums and some line replaced (approx. 6 months ago)
- Rego runs out end of this month
- extractors and 2 inch free flow system

The car belongs to a mate who lives on the NSW North Coast, hence I am looking after the sale in Brisbane for him.  He has owned the car approx. 18 months and was using it as a daily driver around Brisbane and Townsville (the car has never been on the coast or in salt air in previous 18 months) until he broke down driving home from Townsville in December.

Due to a number of factors Matt has decided to sell the car as is.  It is not presented for sale at present, but does come up quite well with a cut and polish.

The car drives very well, and the body is in excellent condition.  It is a STANDARD, yet has some special trim on it and also has a picnic tray.  It comes with various parts such as master cylinders, starter motors, gearbox, spare speedo, clutch pressure plate fuel pump etc.

I have driven and worked on the car and am happy to answer any further questions or show the car to any interested buyers.

Please call me on 0403 431 181 if interested.

Hi Guys.
This is the car that was advertised on the forum awhile back. If I remember correctly, this is the car that RET commented on the wiper set up & the addition of the side flash. I can see why the wipers were a bit odd looking, it doesn't seem to have any.
Does this car have a roadworthy?

Regards,
Rob J

Rob,

I don't believe this car has been for sale on the forum before, at least not by us or the previous 2 owners.  We have posted a pic of it though and I remember someone commenting on the wipers.

It does have wipers...  Matt just got an EK electric wiper from Ace a few months back (the old one died), he just hasn't had a chance to put it in yet.

As I mentioned this was not a planned sale, and Matt has been unable to prepare the car for sale due to not being able to travel to it since storing it in Brisbane last month.

No, it does not have a safety certificate as the crank is gone in the motor.  It will require a reco motor, 2nd hand motor or other conversion.

I know the car quite well and am happy to be contacted by anyone with a genuine interest in looking at the car.

This is a genuine sale.

Dave
Sorry to say, but 4Hammers is nearly right. I am certain that I posted a link in here somewhere last time this car was on the market. I did try to find it with no luck.

Cheers Jim

The car was for sale on ebay and was discussed on the forum early to mid 2003.  Matt purchased the car privately.  I believe the previous owner had advertised it on and off for some months prior to that.  I found the thread before.

I remember the link from Ebay was posted here, long time ago, and the discussion - I'm sure it's the same car.

cheers
