I'm not able to post a pic ( maybe someone can help out ), but I found this immaculate V8 FC for sale at Carsales.com.au

Check it out at http://www.carsales.com.au/pls/carsales/!cs_content.private_vehicle?vehicle_id=110567&current_rec=3&total_rec=3&sort_type=&make_id=10&model_id=3866&state_id=-1&search_distance=25

This thing is just stunning, and I've been talking to the owner, who is the  Sales Manager at Dandenong Mitsubishi.   He is negotiable on price and seems quite genuine.
If I wasn;t so far into my own resto, I would jump at it.

The ad says 2 speed ( but is actually running a worked Trimatic.

Hope this car can go to a good home.

Cheers

Mark,

This car runs a TH400 I believe, not a Trimatic.

The problem with an interstate purchase, at least in NSW, is that a 350 exceeds the capacity limit of the light vehicle rules.

From memory, 318 cubic inches is the theoretical maximum capacity based on a 1070kg FC sedan.

Hence, 305-307 Chev and 304-308 Holden motors are the legal choice.

However, if you were in Victoria, the car would be a great thing, especially if it presents as well in the flesh as it does in the photos.

You could barely purchase the running gear for it at the price, let alone the bodywork and interior.

I hope it has a hidden brake booster. The original master cylinder looks lonely. Wink

I'd suggest you click on the link to carsales.com.au above and  contact the owner that way.  Otherwise, try the sales manager at dandenong mitsubishi as mentioned also.
good luck, it looks like a nice car.
