I know i know it takes more time than i could imagine again and the project wont always run to plan but Im keeping this one untill I die !
1:27 today He came out ,looked at the Holden on my shirt and gave the thumbs up  Grin

Congrats Harko!
and who said it was impossible to go from scratch to show stopper in less than a year!
you  might have to take 57bus's lead and look at a microbus at this rate???
Congrats to the whole Harko (ever expanding) family.
now all we need is a name?

Hey Harko

Congratulations on the new addition, is he giving a high five in there?  With the rapidly expanding team of lads, is this a cunning plan to keep labour costs down for all your future projects? Grin Grin Grin

Good on you, Harko and Jayne.  Does the little fella have a name?

You're right about it being a life-long project.  They start a bit fumey, with a few leaks and they're not all that reliable (especially at night), but the potential is enormous.

Of course, at some point in the not too distant future, your older one will decide to turn this one into a couch Grin  And not long after that it will be the other way around... Grin

Best wishes to all.

Hey Harko congratulations....

Give it a couple of weeks though and you will have LOWERED his ears, by CHOPPING the top, bet you already have a new set of RUBBER for him and definately not sure what TRIM to put on him each day. Add oil and some degrease regularly constant wipe downs and the trophies will come...

Congrats again,

Cheers

Jason.

Now that's some deep pile carpet on top of your project there Harko !

My latest project...a "Riley" which I picked up 6 months ago would be envious.

Congratualtions to you and your wife.

You are not going to believe this but thats how I am convincing the missus to let me get a wagon.

I used the same excuse to get the kombi, but after it taking 3 and a half years to do, she is a bit sussed this time,
She's now giving me the "you can only have one toy" bull.

I am seriously thinking of selling the kombi to get a wagon, but we are about to move house so I will wait a few months first, got to find a new house with a decent shed, cant believe we are selling as I had a 30 foot x 20 foot shed put up 1 month ago.

Cheers
Dave

Dave Dave Dave....alas my friend....we have lots to learn !

"Fair enough my love.....but I need a good  FC Wagon to drive the 'growing' family around in , so as to avoid stacking on the k's on the Kombi, so I can get a better price when I sell the Kombi and therefore giving me just the one toy"

Hows does that one sound Dave ?

PS....once the deal is done, the Kombi may just take (forever) to sell....not your fault.......you are trying everything you can to sell it....but the market place just isn;t  ready yet !

Awesome comments guys lol ,His name is Boden John Harkness AKA Bo ! ,His name takes in a few of the family members names so it was a pretty good decision .
Jayne/Mums doing well but she doesnt have much to complain about ,2 1/2 hour labour, 9 pound 4.5 ounces - we build em big lol ,The poor woman yesterday morning looked dead set like she was hiding a beach ball.

Thanks again guys for all the warm comments its very much appreciated ,and oh yeah he was born with a silver spanner in his mouth so labour costs may well drop in the futre .
Dave Ive been whacking on the plan of "assing my monaro down to him so we'd better keep it"and I found the best time to enforce it was when wifee was buckled over in agony handling a contraction hehe.
