I have found that the size even when linked from else were some times has an effect on your success.

Your link is pointing to a picture on your hard drive, unless you have a Web Server as your home PC you need to link to a picture on the internet eg -
http://www.pictures.com/mypicture.jpg

Every time i click on that red cross in the box to see what others are showing and/or talking about, i never get to see the picture. Huh

thats because the pic has failed red cross shows you can not open it.
