The engine bay tidy up in the process of getting out of hand....  A few hours later, the front end was out, and the subframe off. Currently it is at the powder coater... |

Progress on the wagon project has suffered as a result, however the subframe and full underfloor has been sandblasted  |

I've repaired this one, however the sandblasting revealed a little more work to do in welding up some pinholes. After that is done, a good coat of stone-guard shall hide the patch nicely.  |

Finally the V8 project car. Not much has happened here for a while. Doubt it shall make the 2005 Nationals - maybe the ones after that? It's got the narrowed Ford 9" sitting under the back, and I've put together the CRS HR front end and steering rack, basically to get it rolling when I recently moved. Maybe sending the front end to Rod's Racks for modification for better steering lock. It doesn't seem too impressive at the moment. The whole floor, inside and out, and the subframe have been blasted, as has the front sheetmetal.  Note the obvious colour change between the grey top coat on the door, and the grey etch primer on the guard. How anyone could ever say they look the same is beyond me.  That's the Merc to the right. Don't ask...... All I'll say is that I never want to hear anyone complaining about the cost of FC parts...... |

I don't know about those grey differences being obvious but what does appear to be obvious is that you have far more than your fair share of shed space  I think it is obvious that I am envious  |

Jealous!! I'd kill for "A" Pillars like those!  On the other hand......... I wouldn't mind bad pillars if I had a shed like that to work on 'em. Emu - Joining the ranks of the Jealous |

Gary, Funny you should say that. I was recently at a bloke's shed that was full to the rafters with interesting bits and pieces, cars etc. I thought to myself, "I could really help this guy out, and buy lots of great stuff from him, to help him clear his shed, so he could fit more stuff in......" I heard the same guy recently just couldn't fit another FE wagon in his shed...... |

The Trouble n Strife & Myself are currently looking to buy a house.
Well ok I am looking to buy a workshop and the wife is after a sewing & craft studio, must have a bedroom, bathroom & BBQ
So far we have managed to find one or the other but not both.
Eddy great workshop I was wandering where you managed to keep and work on all your cars.

The workshop is not at home, it is in the back of a small industrial building near where I live, in Sydney.
I get down there ever second weekend or so, and occassionally after work, however it is a bit cold at the moment.
In a couple of years I'll build something at my house, but the current set up is great, as being in an industrial area, I can bang, grind, weld, paint etc etc to my heart's content, with no grief from the neighbours.
