Oh, I wasn't grumpy!!!!  Grin You'd know if I was!

There's no need to apologise, your stereotype was actually pretty correct, but theres a few of us out there who just don't quite fit it - and we're the ones on this fantastic forum who drive the best cars in the world!!!!

Which reminds me, did I mention to anyone that .....

I love my car!

OK Back to topic,
Subframe has been stripped smoothed and etch primed .
Ret can you now move this thread back into the Real cars section ,This project is now underway !

Although Im not going to air the final photoshop plan Id prefer to keep it under wrapsand Im sure you will enjoy this build much more as you watch it come together.

I dont think the missus was as happy as i was to see the primed subframe  Huh

Heres a couple more detailed pics .
The badge on the firewall reads  "Your warranty will not be honoured if car is over loaded or speeding " Or something to that effect.
I also found a magazine inside dated 1959 - iTS a photographic mag but pretty cool none the less.

Theres a photo of the rust in the lower firewall/silll which is great , You dont see many this good, The floor pans need replacing in the front and thats about it ,there is a spot about 5c peice at the rear base of the door opening but it will be removed when the pillars are moved.
